On the violence and civil unrest:

My ex was a no-show this weekend. He cancelled because his wife insisted they conserve gas (never mind that they live in a house with four working adults, while I live in a house with ONE working adult who supports two children).
BTW She drives a Ford Expedition and he drives a Ford pickup. Maybe instead of NOT getting the kids they should consider trading thier GAS GUZZLING vehicles in for hybrids. :hushyourmouth:

Cece, it wasn’t a whine. Everyone with any sense & compassion is upset & frustrated by this.
I read a list on the USA Today site that like a dozen countries had offered aid. Bush is a fuckwad. I feel a blog post coming on but I think it’s still stewing in my head.
And I want to make clear (again) that this isn’t an anti-Republican thing. If it was, I’d have no problem saying so.
But if one is unable to think outside the box of their political affiliation, there’s a serious problem with the psyche.
This is about humanitarianism.
If you don’t know or understand–or CARE about–the people you ‘represent’, you have no fucking business holding any kind of public office.
I’d recommend proctology. You’d feel right at home in there.
