Or you didn’t work to get the right person elected. Or you didn’t know somebody who knew somebody who knew…
Silly regular people have to take civil service tests, or compete for jobs, or do something in that line of work to qualify.

All politicians put their own people in ‘payback’ positions, of course. Doesn’t necessarily make you an evil person.

But when you put an unqualified ‘friend’, the commissioner of an Arabian Horse society, in charge of Federal Emergency Management after an incident like 9/11, while you’re constantly waving the terrorism banner, you really can’t be very bright.

A ‘friend’ who now refers to Louisiana as being ‘dysfunctional’. :shock:

But Arabians really are beautiful horses. Really.

Oh the lives we live..
I’m way past tired, stressed and suffering burn out. I think I’m ready to get the hell out of school and work. Can you lend me your soap box?
