From CNN:
Two cheetah cubs held captive and abused at a remote village restaurant in eastern Ethiopia are now in the custody of a government veterinarian and U.S. troops, a senior official said Monday.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, AND THANK YOU!!!
I know it’s a small thing in the grand scheme, but it’s a great relief to me.
And on another happy note—Loose Id is doing me the honor of putting RHENN in the spotlight this week.
Much thanks to all the nice folks there who’ve been very kind to me.
And I think I’ll quit while the news is good…

Yep. Sometimes things go the way they should. Didja hear about the Palestinians who stole a lion cub from a zoo yesterday? And 2 Arabic-speaking parrots? WTF?!?
I sure did.
The cub was one of two. They showed the other on television…said since his sibling was taken, he doesn’t want to play, won’t eat much.
They’ll try to sell them on the black market, no doubt, and some egotistical asshole will buy them.
Animals I understand. People? Sometimes I have trouble with them…
(and there are still, btw, a guesstimated 200,000 homeless animals in shelters or roaming the streets from the Katrina disaster–yes, 200,000).
*sigh* Note to self: get Ham fixed so we can get another cat
I hear Ham just crossed the border into Mexico… :poof:
haaaaaaaaaaa probably the little shit!
Oh I’m so glad to hear about the cheetahs. That just made me :uzi:
And congrats on Rhenn. Love that cover.
Thanks, Mechele.
That artist is very talented!
(And congrats on the new contract!!)
Woo-hoo! Congrats on having Rhenn featured at Loose ID, Raine!
What a fabulous way to start the month of December! Love the cover art–very exotic!
Thanks, Daisy!
