Hi, everybody! Hope you holidays were full of love. :grin:

I see a lot of resolution-making on various blogs. I’m afraid I got out of the habit of making them many years ago. Plans simply never work out for me.
However, with the help of my evil twin alter-ego Savannah, I HAVE made a few affirmations I will try very hard to remember through the course of this year.

Raine: I can DO anything, HAVE anything, BE anything I really want.
Savannah: “This just in…an overwrought female author has just been forcibly dragged from the mansion of actress Halle Berry. Obviously psychotic, she claimed that SHE was really Ms. Berry, and that her REAL body had somehow been possessed…”

Raine: I create my own reality.
Savannah: This short white jacket with the extra-long, wrap-around sleeves is just very STYLISH. That’s why I wear it all the time. Really!

Raine: My space is always full of harmony and love. All is well in my world.
Savannah: As long as I don’t run out of cat food. Or fall & hurt myself so I’m unable to get to the cans, and find myself lying helplessly on the floor as the hungry, fanged creatures gather round and exact their revenge, first by nibbling on the fingertips, then the toes, then the soft, tender flesh of the ears while lying on my face so I can’t scream, smothering the remaining life out of me as the room grows dark, darker, darker, darker… :shock:

Raine: Life is a journey, not a destination. I will learn from the experiences, not just enjoy achieving the goals.
Savannah: I will no longer take rejections from editors/agents personally. I understand that this is just about business. I will simply hunt them down and destroy them, if it takes months, even years. Revenge is best served cold. :twisted:

Raine: Success is mine. All I need do is claim it.
Savannah: I think I lost the pawn ticket.

Raine: I am an immortal soul. This life is but one of many dreams.
Savannah: My college buddies never warned me there’d be flashbacks. Ooooooh, pretty purple sky!

…sigh…Despite a certain person’s cynicism, I affirm this will be a fabulous year.
