Raine's Secret Garden

A Foggy Night

It’s a foggy night here. Not spring-like fog; we haven’t had sunshine in over a week, and I miss it this time of year. (and yeah, I’m one of those people who complain when it’s too hot, lol!). But it’s fog and a mist of cold drizzle, fine as talcum powder.
Great night for a murder!! (Yes, authors are a peculiar breed).
I’d love to do a detective series one day. Something sexy, offbeat, atmospheric, possibly paranormal. With just a dash of kink. Yeaahhhh…

But I’m afraid if I plot one more story idea without following through on it, I’ll tear a hole in the very fabric of the universe.

Stole this from Cece’s site…it’s the Astrology for Writers, Editors and Filmmakers, 2006 Forecast!

Aries: ’06 will bring offers. Nice ones. You have and will continue to be on the receiving end of generous friends and co-workers, and the only way you can screw this up is if you try and control every facet of the deal. Cooperation and Hanging Back will make you money, give you influence and prestige.

(Oh pleez, oh pleez…) :woot:

And there are already exciting things to look forward to this year!

1) Rumor has it that the Jackson family will be doing a reality show for tv. (Could somebody please tell me what in the world the Jacksons know about REALITY??!)

2) This is the year! It’s finally here! (again). June 6th of this year–yep. It’ll finally be 6/6/06. 666!! The number of the Beast.
(damn, I wish I had a paranormal coming out on that day!).

3) Jaye’s manuscript, THE LOST, has received Honorable Mention in the Romance Divas Best Opening Scene Contest! Yaayyy!

4) Jordan’s brand-new release, Atlantean’s Quest Bk. Four: Return, is now available at Ellora’s Cave. Check it out!

5) Cece is getting rave reviews on her recently released novel, Once In A Blue Moon–which I guess I can’t refer to until they’re posted (tapping foot impatiently).

6) Daisy’s release, Caroline’s Christmas Viking, is also available at Ellora’s Cave. It sounds great!

7) And Sasha’s just-unveiled cover for her forthcoming Kensington release looks good enough to eat. :woot:

Onward and upward!
