…There been times that I thought I couldn’t last for long
But now I think I’m able to carry on
It’s been a long, a long time coming
But I know a change gonna come…oh, yes it will…“A Change Is Gonna Come”
~~~Sam Cooke
I’ve always loved that song. And nobody ever sang it like Sam Cooke.
And if you’ve never heard it, go forth and listen. It will move your soul.
Now, I don’t know about how long I’ll be carrying on—but a small change is coming, and it’s durn well about time. :yesyesyes:
The change?
On or around the 17th of this month, May, in the year of our Lord, 2006, LET’S PRETEND by Raine Weaver will be available in PRINT.
Oh, yes it will.
I must admit, I’m intrigued by how calm I am about this. After all—this is something I’ve waited my whole life to see.
So please allow me my silly moment.
A book.
A book written by me.
A book written by me on sale in a bookstore. :mrgreen:
It’s been a long time coming.
No doubt, when I first see it I’ll probably cry like a girl.
But right now, I’m cool with it. :smokin:
It also means the end of excuses for those folks who claim, “Uh, well, naw, I haven’t read any of your books…my eyes are real sensitive-like, and I don’t have an e-reader, and the dog ate my printer…” etc., etc.
A change is gonna come.
Raine Weaver, coming to a Border’s near you. :waving:
