I’ve totally ripped this off from Mechele’s site—but I thought it was important.

I’ve corresponded with Camille Anthony a couple of times as a fellow LOOSE ID author. She’s a very nice person, and an author who has, in the past, gone above and beyond the call to do for her readers and others in need.

I confess—I hate fucking bureaucracy of ANY kind, especially when it goes so far as to endanger the lives of the people.

The long and short of it is that Camille has contracted an illness from exposure to asbestos and now requires full-time oxygen. The residuals she’s making from her pubbed work makes her ineligible for Medicaid, so now that medical equipment company wants their equipment back.

THE QUIET KITTY is attempting to raise enough money to help with her medical expenses.
