As a wise person pointed out to me, it’s sort of a rite of passage, an indication of growth, of progress, if you will. It will come in one form or another.

Yes, Let’s Pretend was reviewed by Mrs. Giggles. It wasn’t an out-and-out SCATHING review—but it weren’t purty.

I confess I was, at first, a little disappointed. Pretend had gotten fairly sparkling reviews up until now. And yes, I realize it’s all subjective, etc., etc.
So I went back to give the review an objective reading, to see if there was actually anything constructive I could take away from it.

And left the site giggling. :poof:

Well…except for maybe this one part…

“There are some really cringe-inducing moments in this book when Ronnie acts like a seriously demented creature…Something isn’t right about Ronnie, I tell you. In a serial killer story, she’d be suspect numbers one, two, three, or four depending on how many personalities are trapped in her mind.”

Not sure what it says about me that the idea of a psycho heroine just made me LMAO!! :twisted:
And maybe provided the inspiration for a new book…
