Rarely do I recommend a movie on this site.

First of all, I don’t see a lot.
And secondly—I’m not a movie critic. Different types of movies appeal to different people, and I’d hate to have someone spend money based on my opinion, then have them hate the film.

In this case, I am making an exception.

Because this film is EXCEPTIONAL.

THE ILLUSIONIST…

is for everyone who loves quality film-making. Romance. Mystery. Sensuality. The Mythical. Mysticism. Intrigue.

Wrapped up in a sublimely elegant little package, this film was, in my humble opinion, pretty close to perfect—acting, photography, music, flow.
I sat with a small audience of people who were as enthralled as the audiences in the movie by the illusion woven by this film.

I HIGHLY recommend this movie.
