The kittles and I baked cookies this weekend.
Years ago, I baked quite a bit. Used to be pretty good at it.
However, my ever-expanding arse brought a halt to that practice. :moon:
About a month ago, one of my nieces requested her favorite cookies. Toll House. And since monies were low for Christmas gifts, I was glad to oblige.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get them done for Christmas, nor for New Years. But I got ‘em out this weekend. And since I couldn’t get them done for the holidays, I shipped them for another occasion both sad and worth celebrating.
To my niece:
Toll cookies, because you’ve definitely paid your dues.
Congratulations on the divorce, baby girl.
May you find the happiness you’ve always deserved.

You gave a gift of expressing human and touching sentiment – without sentimentality.
Were these Toll House cookies with or without fur?
Your niece must be a special young woman to have such a special aunt.
Hey Raine,
Just stopping by to say HEY! How the heck are ya!? :-)
Tanya
Thanks, Bernita.
She’s a great kid.
…Were these Toll House cookies with or without fur?
I’m sorry…the concept of ANYTHING being ‘without fur’ is quite alien to me…

Bailey, you’re sweet.
She is very special—in spite of my influence.
Hi, Tanya!! :waving:
Good to see ya!
I’m hangin’, hope you’re doing ok too.
Sorry I haven’t been to visit you more—will do better! :yesyesyes:
Blogger didn’t like me last night, but I’m up and running now and you’re going to like yesterday’s word count.:woot:
What a sweet post–and what a sweet aunt! :yesyesyes:
She’s a sweet kid, Daisy.
Deserves much better than she’s gotten. :yesyesyes:
