This week marked the passing of author Kurt Vonnegut. Although his prose was a little dark for my personal reading pleasure, I certainly studied him in school, and very much respected what he accomplished in his troubled life.
This week also saw the passing of Roscoe Lee Browne. A man of regal bearing and one of my favorite character actors, he had a rich, velvet-deep voice that really, really did it for me (sucker for a fine voice here).
They say celebrity deaths come in threes. I hope they’re wrong.
Maybe we can count the end of Don Imus’ career as number three and Death will call it a day.
Even if it was suicide.
I’m blogging at the CHICA’S site today.
