I’ve just noticed that this year—2008—is a LEAP YEAR.
And although I’m not generally very superstitious, there’s one thing I’ve noticed about leap years.
They’re always pretty strange for me. :shock:
Not strange in that there’s an extra-day-to-play strange.
Strange as in extremes.
Either very good things, or very bad things, or very weird things happen to me during leap years.
Yes, I know it sounds crazy. And no, I have no explanation for it. But I’ve noted it over the years.
I think I’ll keep tabs and tally this one up at the end. See if it follows suit. If extremes are the measure, based on this first week of January I should find Publisher’s Clearing House or a fairy godmother at my door any day. :neutral:
And of course, weird seems to come with the territory in this business, so nothing new there…

I used to think the auto and truck service business was weird; but after reading about all the pitfalls and angst in the publishing business, I’ve decided my day-job is like watching grass grow in comparison. :)

Yes, here’s hoping only good stuff comes to you in 2008. I have a dear friend born on Feb 29th – and she’s so unusual…has one green eye and one brown one. Piebald streak in her hair that has been silver forever while the rest of her hair is red. And we won’t even get into her quirky personality – lol.
