GONE IN 35 SECONDS

Congratulations to the New York Giants on their Superbowl win—seized just 35 seconds before the end.
No, I’m not a football fan. Contact sports make me cringe.
Yes, I’m one of those people who watch (or rather, tape) the Super Bowl just for the commercials. This year they kind of sucked. The majority were pretty ho-hum. Most were sophomoric (IMHO).

I did like the War Of The Blimps for the Coca-Cola.
The one with the lizards performing MJ’s “Thriller” was very cute too, lol. :woot:

But my favorite, as it often is, was the Budweiser commercial with the Clydesdale being trained by the Dalmatian for the team, with a high-five at the end. Along Arabian stallions and, of course, the magnificent Lipizzaner stallions, you can’t beat the Clydesdales for grace, strength, and beauty.

I’d also like to congratulate a dear friend on selling her first manuscript.
Suzanne Perazzini, fellow ex-Harlequin board mate, has just sold a book to Wild Child Publishing and started her own blog.
If you have a mo, swing by and congratulate her. She’s a very talented writer and super person. :yesyesyes:
