It’s finished! It’s done! Muhhh-ha-ha-haaa!!
I’M FREEEE!!!!
Except for a few changes and a quicky blurb, my freebie short-story contribution to Samhain’s holiday celebration is done.
(I actually volunteered for the stress—and I’m acting like it was a one-thousand page novel…yeah, I know…definite mental case here…).
Many thanks to Vanessa Jaye for a spot-on crit, and allowing me to drag her down with me, lol—and for a great bit of entertainment after a sucky work Monday.
I got to peep her story. :)
A Christmas werewolf in a tongue-in-cheek romance that’ll make you sigh.
Ya gotta read it. :)
Putting this out there for those who care to respond—or not, lol. :)

Yes. It’s snowing here.
And more expected. :-/
I am SO not ready for winter.
I don’t mind the cold so much. And the snow is very pretty–if I could just sit inside and look out the window occasionally. And it doesn’t help that the snowplow departments here believe that everyone works 9 to 5, so if you’re outside that cycle, good luck on the roads.
So, I think I’m ready for the good life now.
Villa in the south of France. Beach house in Belize. Lucrative contracts. Fuzzy slippers. Big lottery win. Lost inheritance found. Bon-bons. At least one hot cabana boy for freezing winter nights. And a huge bay window, facing right toward the back, with a big, soft cushion, a stack of books, pad and pen at the ready—and a lovely view of the falling snow.
Sigh…
