Raine's Secret Garden

I haven’t been writing. Not in a good month or so. Won’t waste time explaining. Problems, issues, issues, problems.

So to motivate myself, I (along with a boatload of other authors) volunteered to write a short-short novella, a Christmas freebie for Samhain. With a deadline to deal with, I figured it would make me write.
Uh-huh.
I hear that certain warriors did something similar in times long past. I think they called it “falling on their own swords”. :D

I’m blogging at the CHICAS site today.

Sounds painful, and writing shoulldn’t be painful. But I sure do understand that lack of creative flow when life gets on top of you. Survival takes precedence. Give it time, dear girl.

Put the Christmas lights up early, Raine. Put on a Mannheim Steamroller CD, and let it flow. :)

Watch It’s a Charlie Brown Christmas, and have some eggnog and a sugar cookie, that should help. :)
    Good Luck!

Suzanne, I’m a little worried that I’ll get blocked if I let it go for too long. And I’ve given my word, so I’ll have to follow through on this, at least.

A little holiday spirit, eh? I hadn’t thought of that.
You folks are great, lol. :)
