Okay, I’m Ready for Spring

snoballfite_.JPG

Yes. It’s snowing here.
And more expected. :-/
I am SO not ready for winter.

I don’t mind the cold so much. And the snow is very pretty–if I could just sit inside and look out the window occasionally. And it doesn’t help that the snowplow departments here believe that everyone works 9 to 5, so if you’re outside that cycle, good luck on the roads.
So, I think I’m ready for the good life now.
Villa in the south of France. Beach house in Belize. Lucrative contracts. Fuzzy slippers. Big lottery win. Lost inheritance found. Bon-bons. At least one hot cabana boy for freezing winter nights. And a huge bay window, facing right toward the back, with a big, soft cushion, a stack of books, pad and pen at the ready—and a lovely view of the falling snow.
Sigh…

Oh my God, I am having such a crap time at work and then you go and paint that fantabulous picture of Heaven on Earth. Apart from the fuzzy slippers that is – not into those. I decided today I would rather be a cleaning lady than continue in this stressful job. Cleaning is a good, honest job, working alone to one’s own beat. I have an agent who’s driving me crazy and tomorrow is D-day. Not taking it no longer!
I’m sorry to say you have a long way to go ’til spring. We haven’t even hit summer yet over here.
But at least that photo and caption had me laughing out loud.

Suzanne, so sorry about the sucky day job.
    I feel ya. Trust me.
But glad if the picture made you smile (I loved it too, lol).

I don’t think I’d be into the fuzzy slippers either (I’ve never tried them). They just seemed to go with the bon-bons. ;)

    And did I forget a brand new, ultra-luxurious pillow-top mattress?~~~~~~~~~~~~

Where’s that Global Warming when you need it? :)

  • Raine says:

I believe in global warming, Bernard.
But I’d settle for just a touch of it in my backyard right now, lol.

We had flurries on the weekend, but it all melted. Man I could use some of that good life, snow or no snow.

  • Raine says:

I just drove home in white-out conditions. :(
Not a snow plow in sight. :(
We’re expecting about 5 inches, and more later in the week. :(
Maybe I’ll take a bag of snowballs to work and start a fight. :)

Wishing you some of the good life too, Vanessa.

Wow. I’m reading this at work, Raine. Did you have to include the Cabana boy? Just had to rub it in, didn’t ya? LOL. Ah, the dream life.

Come by and pick up your award. :-)

Did you have to include the Cabana boy?

Paulo has the effect on me, Tyhitia. ;)

    On my way…………….
