A Bit of Warmth in Winter

chickadee.JPG
Having one of these little fellows eat right out of my hand a few times this week brought a smile to my winter-weary soul.
Chickadees are tiny, beautiful, cheery, and brave—and I seem to have discovered one who isn’t afraid of me.
Can you say big, goofy grin? :D

I’m blogging at the CHICAS site today.
Please join us.
(Birdseed optional).

    Winter-weary in December… in Ohio… uh oh. :)

Better hang with your little feathered friend as much as possible.

We don’t have chickadees over here and certainly no birds that will eat out of your hand. What a great show of trust.

No chicadees, but I do get ducks and geese waddling over to me when I get out of my car. :)
