I watched this film this weekend on HBO. It was the first time I’d seen it uncut, so it was almost like watching it for the first time.
Good movie. Well done. Must’ve been, because I wanted to KILL her husband, lol.
And there was actually only one part that made me lift my eyebrows and say, “Oh, come on, now. No way!”
Nooo, it wasn’t the part about old witches living in an apartment building in New York. I could buy that. It wasn’t the demonic rape, or the woman going through an agonizing pregnancy and still sticking with the same doctor. It wasn’t even the idea of the devil’s child being born to a human.
What was it?
The idea that anybody—ANYBODY—in their right mind would actually lease an apartment being offered by Elisha Cook Jr.!!
The author of this beautiful book, Sharon Cullars, is in danger of losing her home.
After losing her job and struggling financially, her house is being put into foreclosure, which would leave both Sharon and her mother homeless.
These are hard times for everyone—believe me, I know. But I think every little thing we can do for others helps make the burden a little lighter for us all.
Information can be found HERE and HERE.
Thank you.
Here’s hoping everyone made it through the hustle and bustle of the holidays with fond memories and lots of great gifts.
Happy 2009!!!
