I’ve been in a peculiar mood with the writing lately. On again, off again. Daydreaming. Writing in spurts. And I know it’s not the wip. I love the story, the characters. I’ve got about 320 pages done, so there’s no way I’m abandoning this baby.
Still…
And I’m trying to be professional and objective about it all. I know you can’t just write when the mood or inspiration hits if you really want the gig. But I also know that if I write when I’m not feeling it, the work reflects that, and I get discouraged because I’m putting out suckage. I don’t feel guilty when I don’t write, but do feel like I’m…missing something.
