I’m ashamed to admit, I never did make it through all the entries. The turnout was tremendous this year. Just couldn’t find the time.
And you’re quite right…the bird did seem absent to some of the stories, didn’t it? Not like mine, of course…

I did like your short. When I get the invitation in the e-mail I go to the site and look at the picture immediately. Every time I’ve clicked away thinking no way am I coming up with anything for that picture. There are so many entries now the brutal part is reading through every piece so to be fair on my picks. There were a lot of them this time where I wondered what happened to the picture.
