This pretty lady comes to visit me fairly frequently. And has no fear of me whatsoever, lol.
The local government encourages us not to put food out for the deer.
This one likes whole corn kernels and apples.
(And yes, this is still supposed to be a writer’s blog–snort!–more on that later this week).

I see lots of writer stuff in this post. The lovely visitor, the winter vista, the government trying to tell you what to do (kind of like publishers, yes?)
The deer in my region are a bit south of us, but I put wild bird feed out all winter so we always have at least one flock of something hanging out on the property. This year it’s been most doves, cardinals and wrens, but now and then we’ll get something exotic like a red-headed woodpecker or a Baltimore Oriole.
I so love your back yard. I hope to see it one day.

Lynn, at this time of year ANY sign of life is uplifting in these parts. This week our weatherman informed us that we’ve only had 2 sunny days out of the last 54.
Your birds sound dreamy.
Suzanne, it’s really not as big as it looks.
It’s just home.
Great picture! You wrote words in the blog, hence it is a writer’s blog. There’s only so many ways to reiterate how incredibly difficult it is to be a writer… oh yeah… and that agents are all against us.
YAY on feeding the deer. As for writer stuff, looking out the window and daydreaming when you see things like that deer in your yard is very writerly.

I am starting to feel repetitious, Bernard.
Wish something would happen.
Er–make that something good.

I love the way we all back each other up.
Writerly?
Of course. Makes me think of a fairy tale.
Perhaps she is enchanted.
Perhaps she is enchanted.
What a lovely thought.
Cool picture. And that deer can create all kinds of ideas for a story.
And governement aside, some deer aren’t as friendly as they seem.
Perhaps she is enchanted.
Ohhh, I like this. You should run with this.
Ok, all you ladies with deer story ideas? Just type up the synopses and send ‘em to me. Lol!!
Tyhitia, they’re pretty sweet. In the late spring they even bring their little ones. We’ve lived peacefully together for about 20 years now.
